SWEETWATER-A Sweetwater couple was arrested last week after the Monroe County Sheriff's Office received a tip of drug use at the residence.

Drug Agent Conway Mason said he and other officers arrived at a house on Monroe Street on Tuesday and found Edward Neal Keyt living at the residence. Mason said they searched Keyt and found a pill bottle on him that contained two baggies with a substance thought to be methamphetamine in them.

Officers also found a set of digital scales and other plastic baggies in the house, items that are consistent with weighing and packaging of drugs for sell.

Officers also found a baggie in the house with a green leafy substance in it believed to be marijuana.

Also at the house was Tammy Lynn Keyt who was also arrested after officers searched a car she had been seen driving and found a baggie with a white substance in it believed to be methamphetamine.
