A man accused of fatally shooting a
Sweetwater woman in August 2011 is set for a March 26 trail.
Brently M. Israel, 46, shot and killed
Janet Buchanan during a domestic altercation in a mobile home near
the VFW headquarters, Monroe County Sheriff's Office investigators
allege.
The suspect was quickly charged with
first-degree murder soon after Buchanan was found dead.
Israel will first have a status hearing
March 25 with his trial set to follow the next day.
