A Tellico Plains area man was
arrested Monday night after he allegedly assaulted a 10-year-old and a man in a wheel chair.
Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy C. J. Williams said he and Capt.
Travis Jones went to a house on Jenkins Road around 10 p.m. and found Travis Butler lying on the
floor. Williams said Butler jumped and took off and hid behind a nearby trailer where Jones and
Williams shortly found him, smelling strongly of alcohol. See full story in the Wednesday, Sept. 26, edition of The Advocate &
