MADISONVILLE-A man who allegedly
threw a caustic substance into a Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy's face has waived his case onto a
grand jury. Greg Cathey, 28, was arrested Sept. 1 after officers
tried to serve an arrest on him and he took off running. Monroe
County Sheriff's Detective Doug Brannon said officers were at a house on Mecca Pike outside of
