SWEETWATER-The longtime voice of the Sweetwater High Wildcats has fallen silent with the death of Tommy Hood, but his memory and impact still lives on.

Hood, radio sports broadcaster for Sweetwater High and other area teams for more than two decades, died suddenly Sept. 2.

Hood was not only a beloved broadcaster, but was an avid supporter of the community and worked tirelessly for the the less fortunate in his home town.
