Sequoyah vs. Lenoir City

The Sequoyah Chiefs will meet a likewise undefeated foe as the Lenoir City Panthers charge into the Red Nation on Friday night.

The Chiefs offense will have to be on their toes as Jordan Hall and the Panthers enjoy an array of offensive weapons. Sequoyah has a few of their own though.

Brett King will look to utilize Garret Dalton, Austin Lunsford and Matt Gletty on the outside.

King will also rely on Rubeun Abernathy down the seam. Blake Huffman, Forrest McKane, Drew Carson and J.J Harmon will have to tote the rock and be successful at it.

This is the first real test for the Chiefs this season. With one more win, Bill Satterfiled can move into first place on the Sequoyah all-time wins list.

Sweetwater vs. Oliver Springs

The Sweetwater Wildcats have done things differently to get to 3-0. They have run the football effectively and at times have taken to the air for points.

Last week, Andrew Barr had a huge day passing as he and Nick Wicker led the Wildcats to a decisive 49-20 vicotory over Grace Baptist.

In the first two wins for Sweetwater, we saw a stronger usage of the running game. Because of Barr's early season injury, the team leaned on their offensive line and star running back Jordan McGaughey who promptly carried the load.

Now with a more balanced attack the Wildcats can score anyway they see fit. Oliver Springs should be prepared for anything.

Tellico Plains vs. Coalfield

The Tellico Plains Bears will host the Coalfield Yellow Jackets on Friday night, The Bears are coming off a tough couple of games and will look to score an upset to record their first win.

Tellico needs to win the turnover battle and continue playing well on defense. Led by Devon Collier, Bryce Carter, and Garret Reno the Bears have shown up and stopped teams when they've needed too. To win though, they'll need to win all four quarters.

On offense, Dakota Rinehart and Adam Reece will need to be effective. With their speed and elusiveness, the Bears have a chance score some points.
