MADISONVILLE-An elderly Madisonville
woman was injured Thursday night after an attempt to help led to her
getting stabbed.
Madisonville Police Detective Jeremy
Harrill said Monica Leigh Munoz and Brandy Leann McCarter apparently
knew victim Loris Marie Allmon and where she kept money and pills in
her house.
Harrill said after the incident, Munoz
was stopped in her car shortly after the alleged stabbing and
McCarter was picked up at her house on Ball Play Road.
Allmon told Harrill it was after 8 p.m.
when a woman later identified as Munoz came to her house on Pedigo
Road and asked if she could borrow a rag as her car was having
mechanical difficulties. Allmon said she went into the house to get a
rag and Munoz followed her inside. See full story in the Sunday, August 12, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
