BY BRANDON KEYS Sports Editor It's been a long offseason for
Tellico, one they are ready to see end. It's been even longer since
East Tennessee has seen John Mullinax roaming the sidelines. The
former McMinn County coach has returned to Tennessee, and has
welcomed the task of leading the Bears. "It's a good challenge.
They've got great work ethic and attitude," said Mullinax.
The Bears have
struggled in the last two seasons after a 10-win campaign three years
ago. Players and fans alike hope Tellico can return to that recent
success this year. Camp has already proven a positive atmosphere is
now the norm around Bear country. "They've fought hard so far.
They're going to do that. We're really building a brotherhood
here," said Mullinax. See full story in the Sunday, August 5, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
