MADISONVILLE-The killing of well known Monroe County businessman Jim Miller has had more than two years to occupy people's thoughts.

Miller was found shot to death in a burning car on July 17, 2010, but what happened to lead up to that moment? Was he shot in a robbery gone bad? Did he find himself too deep in the small town southern drug world? Was it a jealous boyfriend?

Well, if you believe accused murder suspect Jessica Powers Kennedy, it was all of them. And maybe more.

Just weeks before her scheduled trial, the lone suspect charged so far in the case took center stage in court hearings that began Wednesday.
