TELLICO PLAINS-Best known as a gateway
to the Cherohala Skyway, Tellico Plains is often just a drive-thru
for visitors. But a popular spot just at the bottom of the Skyway is
a drive-in for people of all ages.
Local hot spot and Tellico Plains
staple the Tellico Beach Drive-In will celebrate its 50th anniversary next month with Customer Appreciation Days on August 12,
13 and 14. During the three day period, the restaurant will offer
specials each day and will be giving out free mementos as keepsakes
of the celebration. See full special feature and photos in the Sunday, July 22, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
