Becoming a college coach was always a
dream for Sweetwater native Jeff Breeden. Now that dream is being
realized in Middle Tennessee. The MTSU Blue Raiders softball team has
named Breeden the fifth head coach in program history. According to
goblueraiders.com, Breeden said "This is a dream come true for me.
To be able to coach on the highest level, I could not be happier. I
expect great things in the future for this program and university."
This hiring is a win-win for both
parties. Breeden is rewarded with a college job, and MTSU gets a
great coach and someone who can recruit locally. See full story in the Sunday, July 8, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
