MADISONVILLE-If you don't see a
problem, does it exist?
When most people think of the homeless,
they picture people in grubby clothes gathered around some kind of
heat spewing vent in a big city. They don't see somebody hanging
out in a small town park or just constantly walking the streets.
And they certainly don't see someone
down on their luck and moving in with a relative or friend. Because
if you don't have a home, just because you live in somebody else's
house doesn't mean you're not homeless.
The Tennessee Valley Coalition to End
Homelessness (TVCEH) is coming to Monroe County after a count in
January turned up more homeless in the county than most would have
thought was here. See full story in the Sunday, June 24, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
