A Tri-Community Volunteer Fire
Department truck ran off Oak Grove Road Tuesday morning causing
considerable damage to power poles and a Madisonville Police cruiser,
MPD Capt. Danny Russell said. Russell said he saw the truck run off
the road and was going to help the driver and investigate the wreck,
but his car wound up being hit by debris and he had to call in the
Tennessee Highway Patrol to investigate. Russell said the truck
driver was not seriously hurt and was very lucky.
