Will mud turn green for Sweetwater?

SWEETWATER-When the Redneck Resort Mud Park opens near Sweetwater June 29, a major impact is bound to be felt in the community.

The park, technically located in McMinn County just outside the Sweetwater city limits by Interstate 75, is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the area for several events over the next few months.

Monroe County and Sweetwater are likely to see a bigger impact than McMinn County at least when it comes to the economic benefits the mud park will bring. Large crowds are expected to come for the mud riding, bogging and music.
