A Madisonville man was killed Thursday
morning when a car he was working on came off its jack and fell on
him.
Madisonville Police Capt. Danny Russell
said he went to a house on Uphill Drive where Tildon Ramsey, 54, was
found under the car. Russell said he talked to Vivian Ramsey, the
victim's sister, and she said they had been working on the car when
she went inside.
Ramsey told Russell she came back out
about 20 minutes later and found the car had rolled off its jack and
onto her brother.
Russell said paramedics at the scene
couldn't find any signs of life for Ramsey and he was taken to
Sweetwater Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
