The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) recently appointed five Knoxville-area CPAs to chair statewide committees. The new leadership assumed office June 16 at TSCPA's 79th Annual Convention and Educational Conference.

Douglas E. Warren, CPA, of Madisonville, managing partner of Warren & Tallent CPAs PLLC, has been reappointed to chair the Professional Development Committee. This committee aims to evaluate and develop programs to assist members in the acquisition of new skills and knowledge.

TSCPA (www.tscpa.com) is the state professional organization for CPAs residing and practicing primarily in Tennessee. Members of TSCPA work in all areas of accounting including public accounting, education, government, business and industry. TSCPA is headquartered in Brentwood.
