A Madisonville man was arrested Wednesday night after he refused to stop for law enforcement. Madisonville Patrolman Daniel Dockery said he saw a blue Mustang traveling 68 mph in a 45 mph zone on Highway 411 around 11:30 p.m. and attempted to stop the car.
The driver refused to stop and made several turns before hitting Niles Ferry Road and heading in the direction of Vonore. He eventually stopped at a house on the road and Dockery identified the driver as Jeffery Lee Martin, 40, Gamble Road.
Dockery did discover Martin was driving on a revoked license. He was also charged with felony fleeing and speeding.
