Sweetwater High School cross country coach Emily Cleveland recently did what most people set as a life goal.

Cleveland competed in the Big Sur International Marathon in Monterey, CA on April 26.
The Sweetwater native had a strong showing in the race, finishing 100th overall out of a total of 3,084 runners.

Cleveland finished 14th overall in the women's division and fourth in her age division.
She finished with a time of 3:21:18.

That time was good enough for a pace of 7:41 per mile in the race that covered 26.2 miles.
