Vonore Youth Sports Elections

Election of officers for the 2008-09 fiscal year will take place on Monday, Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. at the football field bleachers. 

Anyone wanting to run for office must submit their intentions in writing via e-mail to SBsportsmomDawn@aol.com by July 20. 

There will also be a vote on changes to the bylaws (details of the proposed changes will be advised at the meeting). 

You may request a full copy of the amended bylaws via the above email address.

Board meetings will be held on the last Sunday of each month at 3 p.m. in the Vonore Elementary School gym. 

Dates for the meetings are as follows: July 26, Aug. 24, Sept. 28, Oct. 26, Nov. 23, Dec. 28. 

Anyone wanting to put an item on the agenda must submit the request in writing to the above email address at least 10 days before the meetings.

Sweetwater Baseball Elections

The Sweetwater Dixie Youth Baseball Elections for 2009 will be held July 29 at 7 p.m. at the bleachers on Field 1 at the Sweetwater Recreation Complex.

 The public is invited and all coaches and parents are encouraged to attend.

Madisonville Softball Camp

There will be a softball camp for girls ages 6-17 at Houston Park in Madisonville July 29-Aug. 1.

 The camp will be from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. 

The cost is $40.

Sweetwater AYSO Registration

Registration for Sweetwater AYSO’s fall league will be held Saturday, July 26 and Saturday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m.-3p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Sweetwater.
