Pauline Tyler Caughran (Nov. 5, 2009) Pauline Tyler Caughran of Tellico Plains, passed away
Thursday, Nov. 5, at UT Medical Center. She was a charter member of Piney Grove
Baptist Church. She was 92. Preceded in death by: parents, Kash and Rinda Tyler; brother
and sister-in-law, Troy and Veta Tyler; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Tom
Farmer; sister, Kathleen Wear; son-in-law, Jim Childress; and niece, Lou Trame. Survivors include: husband of 75 years-Charles Caughran; Daughters and sons-in-law-Jane and Travis Harris of
Maryville; Elizabeth and Ron Wells of Knoxville; and Joyce and Jim Teague of
Tellico Plains; Grandchildren and spouses-Buddy and Terry Childress, Denise
and Alan Thompson, Allen Teague, Pam and Russell Massey, Chip and Stephanie
Wells, Chris Teague and Lindsey Childress; Great-grandchildren-Barrett Frye, Hannah, Abagail and
Bennett Thomason, Joshua and Jackson Teague, Cade Wells; Great-great-grandson-Aidan Childress; Brother-Goodloe Tyler; Nieces-Ann Horner, Jane Wear and Sharon Shaw; Nephew-Larry Tyler; A host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Saturday, in Biereley-Hale
Chapel with the Rev. Ollie Lankford and Rev. Dwayne Leming officiating.
Interment will be 2 p.m., Sunday, in Piney Grove Cemetery, with Rev. James "Dink"
Harris and Dr. James Robertson officiating. Family will receive friends from
5-7 p.m., before the funeral. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in
