Larry Rex Russell

Larry Rex Russell of Vonore, passed away at 6:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

He was 58.

Preceded in death by: parents, Fred Landon and Mary Ruth Law Russell; and brother, Kenneth Russell.

Survivors include: sons and daughter-in-law-Lowell Russell and Cory and Crystal Russell;

Grandson-Rex Russell, all of Vonore;

Sisters-Barbara Caughorn, Linda Turbyfil and Nancy Webb;

Brothers-Charles, Danny and Jimmy Russell, all of Maryville;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Saturday, at Trinity Baptist Church, 244 Mason Road, Madisonville, with Rev. George Macht officiating. Interment will be noon, Sunday, in Corntassel Cemetery, with military honors provided by Sweetwater VFW Post #5156 and DAV Chapter #93. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., before the funeral, at the church. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
