Guy Raymond Wiggins

Guy Raymond Wiggins of Madisonville, passed away at 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a long-time educator in Monroe County. He was owner/operator of Wiggins Hardware Store, Athens and an avid boater at the Tellico Harbor Marina.

He was 76.

Preceded in death by: parents, John B. and Gutherie Breeden Wiggins.

Survivors include: wife-Jennifer Jones Wiggins;

Children and spouses-David E. and Tami Wiggins of Madisonville; Mike Wiggins and John Wiggins and Mary Lowe;

Grandchildren-Skylar and Brycen;

Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law-Pat and Susan Jones of Vonore; Nioka and Scott Logan of Madisonville; and Brenda and Buddy Kidd of Maryville;

Special cousins-Mickey and Jerry Vaughn and Tommy R. Jones;

Nieces-Brooke Jones Rabotte and Jessica Hingtgen;

Nephew-Jeff Jones;

Co-worker-Mickey Eaves of Athens;

Numerous other cousins and friends, including his beloved dog, Lilly and special friends at Tellico Harbour Marina. 

Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Friday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel with Rev. Doug Alexander officiating.  Interment will be 11 a.m., Saturday in Corntassel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Corntassel Church Cemetery Fund, 2100 Povo Rd., Madisonville, TN 37354. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
