Orval Richard Cooper (Aug. 10, 2008) Orval Richard Cooper of Vonore, went to be with the Lord at 12:06 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 10, at Asbury Acres. He was a member of Citico Baptist Church where he was an inactive deacon and curator of the Citico Cemetery. He was a charter and active member of the Citico Volunteer Fire Department. Preceded in death by: wife, Juanita Dupes Cooper; daughter, Primla Sue Cooper; parents, Harve and Laler Cooper; and brother, Melvin Cooper. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law-Denny and Mildred Cooper and Gerold and Kathy Cooper; Daughter and son-in-law-Marcia and Donnie Self; Grandchildren-Chris and Samantha Cooper, Rev. Russ and Missy Cooper, Ben Self, Sarah Self and Katie Cooper; Great-grandchildren-Landry Cooper, Kylee Cooper, Bryant Cooper and Hailey Cooper; Brothers-Odis, Wilburn, Lawerence, Don and Ronnie Cooper; Sisters-Beatrice Dotson and Joyce Duncan; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Monday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. David Lane, Rev. Dennis Robinson and Rev. J.A. Schaffer officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, in Citico Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., before the funeral. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
