Thomas Vernon Lowry

Thomas Vernon Lowry (Tommy) of Madisonville,
passed away Sunday afternoon, July 29, at Wood Presbyterian Home. He served in
the U.S. Army during World War II.
He owned and operated Lowry Refrigeration Service for many years.
He was 90.
Preceded in death by: parents, Samuel Anderson
Lowry and Bessie Mae Lomax Lowry; sister, Jean Barham; and brother, John
Lowry.
Survivors include: daughter and
son-in-law-Elizabeth and Perry Bowling of Oliver Springs;
Grandchildren-Kimberly McDonald and Keith
Bowling, both of Clinton; and Kevin Bowling of Jacksboro;
Nine great-grandchildren;
Sister-Nancy Starritt of Richmond, Ind.
Funeral serices will be 8 p.m., Tuesday, in
Biereley-Hale Chapel, with Rev. Jarvis Bivens officiating. Interment will be 11
a.m., Wednesday, in Vonore Methodist Cemetery. Family will receive friends from
6-8 p.m. before funeral services. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in
charge of arrangements.
