Maburn Debity of Tellico Plains, passed away peacefully at
10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Woods Memorial Hospital. He resided in the
Epperson Community and was a true friend to all and will be sadly missed.
He was 62.
Preceded in death by: granddaughter, Anna Grace; parents,
Jack and Mary West Debity.
Survivors include: wife of 44 years-Deanna Peels Debity;
Sons and daughter-in-law-Jamie and April Debity of
Adairsville, Ga.; Joey Debity of Etowah; and Jason Debity of Madisonville;
Grandchildren-Jackson and Ella Debity;
Sisters-Blake George of Detroit, Ala; Sylvia Knippa of
Rockdale, Texas; Blanch Giles of Coker Creek; Osie Bonine of Dallas, Texas;
Brothers and sisters-in-law-Mayford and Rosie Debity, Coye
Debity and Dock Debity, all of Coker Creek; and Danny Debity of Cleveland;
Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law-Connie Pike, Bobbie Jo
Evans, Betty Morgan, Shirley and Jackie Boyette, Cathy and Steve Stiles and
Doug and Linda Jones;
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Friday, in Biereley-Hale
Chapel with the Rev. Russell Jones officiating. Interment will be noon
Saturday, in Epperson Cemetery, with Rev. Wayne Trentham officiating. Family
will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., before the funeral. Biereley-Hale Funeral
Home, Tellico Plains, in charge of arrangements.
