Rita Catherine Holder

Rita Catherine Holder of Coker Creek, passed away at 1:50
p.m., Wednesday, July 21, at the home of her granddaughter, after a lengthy
illness. She was a member of Epperson Presbyterian Church. Throughout her life,
she enjoyed gardening, farming and raising her family. She and her husband
owned and operated Holder's Store.
She was 94.
Preceded in death by: husband, Jesse Holder; grandson,
Darrel Holder; son-in-law, Claude William Folk.
Survivors include: daughter-Billie Folk;
Sons and daughter-in-law-Braudis and Helen Holder; and Jerry
and Louise Holder, all of Coker Creek;
Grandchildren and spouses-Steve and Kathy Holder, Clifford
and Penny Holder, Violet Williams, Teresa and Lonnie Shell, Valerie Jennings,
Brad and Laura Holder, Yvonne Roberts, Kyle Holder and fiancee, Sarah Newman;
Great-grandchildren and spouse-Nick, Brennan and CJ Holder,
River Jennings, Jeremy and Jason Williams and Celia and Brad Davis;
Several nieces and nephews;
Special friend-Carolyn Graves.

Graveside and interment will be 11 a.m., Saturday, in Holder
Family Cemetery with Rev. Sam Melton officiating. Family will receive friends
from 6-8 p.m., Friday at Biereley-Hale. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico
Plains, in charge of arrangements.
