Rachel Beatrice Standridge Lowe

Rachel Beatrice Standridge Lowe, born July 20, 1936, passed
from this life Jan. 23. She was born and raised in Sweetwater and lived for the
past 50 years in California. She was a resident of La Mirada, Calif. at the
time of her death.
Preceded in death by: parents, Oscar L. and Jessie Lee
Standridge; brother, King Wilburn Standridge; and sons, Jackson Bradley Moore
III, Oscar Stephen Moore and Brian Keith Lowe.
Survivors include: husband of 47 years-Larry D. Lowe;
Daughters and son-in-law-Kristina Margarita Arends of La
Mirada; and Tammy and Clyde Lindemann of St. Charles, Mo.;
Son-Robert Dale Lowe;
Eleven grandchildren;
Seven Great-grandchildren;
Sisters-Beulah Torbett and Opal Sledge of Sweetwater; Helen
Shelton of Cleveland;
Brothers-Oscar Standridge and Kenneth Standridge of
Sweetwater; and Neil Standridge of Chattanooga;
A host of nieces, nephews and other family members are left
to mourn her passing.
She was a generous and loving person who gave of herself and
provided love and a nurturing home to several other children who over the
course of her life, have come to call her mom and grandmother. She will be
greatly missed, but lovingly remembered for her generosity and kindness, her
zest for life, and the laughter and love she brought to all who came to know
her.
