Eva Lena Shaw

Eva Lena Shaw of Coker Creek, born July 14, 1944, passed away at 7:55 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2, at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Long Ridge Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by: husband, George W. Shaw; infant son, David Allen Shaw; mother, Media Davis; and brother, J.C. Davis.

Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law-Norman and Marla Shaw and Chris and Trish Shaw, all of Coker Creek; and Cory and Shawna Shaw of Tellico Plains;

Daughters and son-in-law-Tina and Alan Dalton and Patty Mason, all of Coker Creek;

Grandchildren-Jake Dalton and fiance, Tarah Lee, Ezra and Tonya Dalton, Alie and Matthew Bivens, Anie and Michael Peels, Hannah and Hailey Shaw, Max and Charlie Mason, Zeke and Tillie Shaw and Easton Shaw;

Great-grandchildren-Riley Copeland and Brooklyn and Madison Shaw;

Father-Otis Davis of Coker Creek;

Sisters and brothers-in-law-Mangus and Raymond Jones of Tellico Plains; and Phyllis and Buford McDowell of Englewood; and Gail and Doug Dalton;

Brother-Nicky Davis, all of Coker Creek;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, at Long Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery. Body will lie in-state 30 minutes before the service. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains, in charge of arrangements.
