Ray Bruce Beaty Jr.

Ray "Bruce" Beaty Jr. of Sweetwater, went to be with the
Lord on Monday, Nov. 2, at his residence. He was a loving husband and devoted
father. He worked for the Monroe County Board of Education since 1973, serving
as teacher, principal, and was the current director of special education. Bruce
loved the Lord and he loved to serve the Lord. He was a member of the Mt. Verd
Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and Sunday School teacher.
He was 58.

Survived by: his loving wife of 37 years-Pam Beaty;
Son and daughter-in-law-Mark and Tiffany Beaty of Maryville;
Daughter and son-in-law-Sara and Josh Harris of Sweetwater;
Grandsons-Preston Beaty and Noah Harris;
Mother-Nellie Beaty of Sweetwater;
Sisters and brothers-in-law-Carolyn and Rob Scott of Winter
Haven, Fla.; Betty and John French of Tellico Plains; and Lois and Bill Jones
of Chattanooga;
Mother-in-law and step-father-in-law-Geneva and Jerry
Anderson of Niota;
Brother-in-law-Lynn Robinson of Niota;
Two nieces and several nephews.
The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, where the
family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m., with the funeral service
to follow in Kyker's Chapel with Rev. Donnie Dalton, Rev. T.D. Burgess and Rev.
Ted Watson officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m., Wednesday in the Sweetwater
