Oscar Eugene Wallace

Oscar Eugene “Gene” Wallace of Tellico Plains, went home to
be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 17. He was a member and former pastor of Leonard
Evans Memorial Pentecostal Church.
He was 53.
Preceded in death by: father, Oscar Wallace; sisters, Linda
Wallace and Loretta Myers; infant brother; mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law,
Josephine and Gene Hall.
Survivors include: wife of 29 years-Teresa Wallace of
Tellico Plains;
Sons and daughter-in-law-Larry and Sandy Wallace of Old
Fort; and Noah Wallace of Ocoee;
Daughter-Amy Wallace of Knoxville;
Mother-Marry Maxine Wallace of Tellico Plains;
Brothers and sister-in-law-Bobby and Carla Wallace and David
Wallace, all of Tellico Plains;
Sisters and brothers-in-law-Brenda Crowder, Wilma and Eddie
Lawson and Teresa and Lamar Buckner, all of Tellico Plains;
Grandchildren-Jeffery Wallace of Rockwood; Dustin Andrews of
Oakdale; T.J. Andrews of West Knoxville; and Jeremy Andrews of Sevierville;
Step-grandchildren-Holly and Tim Morrison and Heath
Sinclair, both of Old Fort;
Father-in-law and stepmother-in-law-Larry and Lois Quarles
of Chatsworth, Ga.;
Several nieces and nephews.
The family will begin receiving friends at 5 p.m., Thursday,
Aug. 21, at the Leonard Evans Memorial Pentecostal Church. Funeral services
will be 2 p.m., Friday, at church with Rev. Harlen Martin officiating.
Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Myers Funeral Home,
Tellico Plains.
