Reba Marie Kirkland Bell

Reba Marie Kirkland Bell of Dalton, Ga., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Aug. 9, surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of Tellico Plains, she was saved at an early age, August, 1941, at Mt. Isabelle Baptist Church and has remained a true and faithful Christian until her death.

She was 81.

Preceded in death by: her parents, James Riley and Delia Kirkland; sisters, Dollie Gilbert, Dicie Mason, Beulah Walker and Cordia Kirkland; and son-in-law-Robert Betts Jr.

Survivors include: her loving husband of 59 years-Glen Bell of the residence;

Son-R.G. (Riley Glen) Bell of Dalton;

Daughters and son-in-law-Glenda Betts and Freda and Donnie Stephenson, all of Chatsworth, Ga.;

Granddaughter-Carrie Betts Brock of Chatsworth;

Brother-Anderson Kirkland of Tellico Plains;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were 2 p.m., Wednesday, from Welcome Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Deems and Rev. Bobby Souther officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Shawn Chapman Funeral Home and Crematory, Chatsworth, Ga.
