Barbara Sue Hornbaker Miller

Barbara Sue Hornbaker Miller of Sweetwater, passed away at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6, at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Grace Community Missionary Baptist Church of Philadelphia.

She was 67.

Preceded in death by: husband, Charles E. (Pete) Miller; mother, Flora Green Hornbaker; and sister, Ruth Scates.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law-Karen and Rev. Darrell Franklin of Sweetwater;

Sons and daughters-in-law-David and Deborah Miller of Riceville;

Grandchildren and spouses-Christal and Matthew Johnson, Laura and Jason Moses, D.J. Miller and Kimberly Miller;

Sister-Jean Winkle of Knoxville;

Brother-in-law and sister-in-law-Norman and Mary Alice Miller of Knoxville;

Aunt-Juanita Green of Sweetwater;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Friday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with Rev. Joe Guyer and Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m., Saturday in Sweetwater Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., before the funeral. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
