THE TOWN OF SPRING CITY CITY RECORDER VACANCY
The City Recorder is responsible for the custody and preservation of public records, ordinance/resolution books, minutes of the Board of Commissioners, contracts, bonds, title deeds, certificates, and papers. The individual must be present at all meetings of the Board of Commissioners, Planning Commission, and Board of Zoning Appeals and keep a full and accurate record of all business discussed and voted upon. The City Recorder also functions as the Town Treasurer and is responsible for the supervision of the Town's financial and operational activities, including accounting, budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, and coordinating the annual financial audit as well as provide technical expertise. The City Recorder has no supervisory duties and reports directly to the City Manager.
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, or Finance; OR an Associates Degree coupled with 3+ years experience in government fund accounting, accounting or finance; OR High School Diploma coupled with 5+ years experience in government fund accounting, accounting or finance. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have experience using a variety of accounting software applications. Have superior oral and written communication skills. Desired qualifications include previous City Recorder experience, Certified Municipal Finance Officer (CMFO) certification, and Notary Public Designation.

2013 ANNUAL AGENCY PLAN
LENOIR CITY HOUSING AUTHORITY
Notice is hereby given to the residents of the Lenoir City Housing Authority, the citizens of Lenoir City and all persons interested, that the housing authority is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Section 511 of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998 Final Rule to submit a Streamlined Public Housing Agency Plan.
Further, the Streamlined Agency Plan shall consist of an Annual Plan for the upcoming fiscal year. The Annual Plan provides details about the housing authority's immediate operations, programs and services for the upcoming fiscal year.
Prior to submission of the Agency Plan to HUD, we are soliciting comments and suggestions. We will be conducting a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., at the Lenoir City Housing Authority's Main Office, 101 Oakwood Drive in Lenoir City, Tennessee, to discuss the proposed plan. All residents are encouraged to attend.
